Quaestio Rossica

Quaestio Rossica is a peer-reviewed academic journal publishing research on the history and culture of Russia. The Editorial Board and Council of the journal are made up of leading Russian and non-Russian scholars. The journal aims to look for new approaches and directions in the academic study of Russia, to acquaint specialists in the fields of history, literary studies, linguistics, arts and cultural studies with the study of Russia, and to unite the efforts of scholars in Russian studies from different countries across the world. The Editorial Board aspires to make the journal a platform for academic discussion on compelling issues of the past, present and future and to create a space for the free exchange of ideas, where it is possible to reconsider old concepts and form new ones, and where new approaches can be formed in the study of Russia’s history, culture, and arts. Priority is given to articles and reviews that consider new historical sources, that study little-known linguistic and literary material as well as other arts, that discover synchronic and diachronic processes of cultural interaction, that observe rules of academic writing and objectivity, that challenge old models and that are characterized by historiographic completeness.
