 | This journal is published by the Postgraduate Programme in Geography of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and has the aim of advancing geographic knowledge through the presentation of results from academic research in Geography and related sciences. The journal provides a forum for theoretical and methodological debate concerning a diversity of themes and approaches in Geography and for discussing key academic issues in contemporary society. The spirit of intellectual plurality displayed in academic training and research undertaken in the Postgraduate Programme in Geography is present in the journal. The journal is open for contributions from researchers who submit manuscripts with a high standard of quality and scientific argumentation. Manuscripts must be original texts not published elsewhere which will undergo peer review by members of the editorial committee. Authors are responsible the veracity of their work and for the opinions expressed in their articles. The journal is published twice a year. Articles are published in Portuguese, English or Spanish. | ||
