Studia Prawnicze [The Legal Studies] is the academic journal with a tradition dating 1963 (quaterly till 2019, and half-yearly since 2020). The journal has been published by ILS PAS from its inception. As the journal accepts relatively voluminous proposals (often even 2 publishing sheets – 80,000 characters, including spaces and annotations), the Authors can publish in-depth and multifaceted analyses of the juridical issues based on a wide range of literature and jurisprudence. The journal publishes in Polish and English. The journal is open to the entire academic community of legal sciences. It covers widely legal issues connected with political and economic system of the state and its evolution resulting from global, european and national challenges, including reflexion on necessary modernisation of law provoked by the European law. Publications on both public and private law are welcomed, including administrative, criminal and civil law (in their traditional sense) as well as new technologies law, internet law, consumers law, etc. The protection of fundamental rights of individuals is an important leading theme, either in the general sense (development of fundamental rights' idea) or in more specific fields or legal issues. | |||
