Scientia Militaria: South African Journal of Military Studies

Scientia Militaria is an inter- and multidisciplinary peer reviewed journal registred with the South African Department of Tertiary Education and recognised by the South African National Research Fund (NRF) that has an African focus and publishes contributions on security and military issues, peace operations and conflict, military history, civil-military relations and articles with a military sociology orientation. While it strives to focus on Africa other contributions are not per se excluded.The Editorial Advisory Board includes recognised academics and theorists from Latin-America, the African continent, India, Europe (including the USA), Canada and Russia. Special issues (Actas) are published apart from the two issues that see a print run every year.
