 | The International Journal of Research in Industrial Engineering (IJRIE) provides an international forum for refereed original research studies in the theory and applications of Industrial Engineering (IE). This journal aims at an audience of researchers, academicians and practitioners of IE and associated fields. It's focus is on exchanging information relating to: engineering, project management, scheduling, application of meta-heuristics, production planning,applied mathematics, operation research,fuzzy systems, data envelopment analysis, information systems, E-business and e-commerce, decision analysis and methods,finance management, marketing, procurement and contracting, risk assessment, crisis management, stock trading, strategic management, performance measurement, network management, telecommunications, intelligent database management systems, human resources management, business, production management, economics, and energy. Papers reporting on applications of IE techniques to real-world problems are welcome, as long as they satisfy the criteria of originality in the choice of the problem and the tools utilized to solve it, generality of the approach for applicability to other problems, and significance of the results produced.
