
The 16th Royan International Summer School is being held with the aim of advancing the knowledge and skills of students, graduates, and professionals in the biomedical sciences.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Royan Institute, the 16th Royan International Summer School will take place from July 21–23, 2025, at the Royan Institute’s conference hall. The theme of this year’s school is Artificial Intelligence and Biological Intelligence and it is designed for students, university faculty, and specialists in related fields. The event will feature lectures by renowned national and international experts and will be held in a hybrid format (both in-person and virtual) over the course of four days.
The first day, July 20, will consist of an online prerequisite program for the 16th Summer School.
The 16th Summer School will commence with the following scientific topics:
Scientific Themes:
– Neuo-inspired Artificial Intelligence;
– Systems Neuroscience and Computational Modeling;
– Bioinformatics and Al-driven Omics;- AI in Medicine and Healthcare;
The scientific secretary of this event is Dr. Mohammad Reza Abolghasemi Dehaqani, an expert in Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience, Assistant Professor, Chair of the Artificial Intelligence Department, and Deputy Director of the Converging Technologies Research Institute at the University of Tehran.
