Artificial Intelligence in Pharmacovigilance is a 3-day Live Online Training Course organized by Fleming Events, taking place from 19–21 October 2026, 14:00–18:00 CEST each day. This expert-led programme is designed for professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, biologics, and life sciences industries who want to understand the practical implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in regulated pharmacovigilance (PV) environments.
The course will be led by Reinhold Schilling, Head of Global Pharmacovigilance, EU-QPPV, and Stufenplanbeauftragter at Wörwag Pharma, Germany, with support from an additional industry co-trainer. Throughout the three-day programme, participants will gain practical knowledge of AI applications in pharmacovigilance, including case processing, literature screening, MedDRA coding, signal detection, risk management, AI governance, vendor oversight, validation of AI-enabled systems, GxP compliance, EU AI Act requirements, audit readiness, and digital transformation strategies.
The training combines expert presentations, real-world case studies, live demonstrations, interactive workshops, practical exercises, and group discussions to help participants understand how to implement AI responsibly while maintaining patient safety, regulatory compliance, and data integrity. Attendees will learn how to evaluate AI use cases, design governance frameworks, validate AI systems, manage vendors, and develop inspection-ready AI implementation roadmaps.
