Kuldeep Sharma is an accomplished professional with a career spanning over 18 years in the field of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). With a strong academic background, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, Statistics, and Mathematics from M.D. University (Rohtak), demonstrating his commitment to the sciences from an early stage.

Kuldeep’s expertise in NDT is underlined by his ASNT NDT Level III certification in Ultrasonic Testing, Radiographic Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection, and Liquid Penetrant Testing. This certification, received in 2011, showcases his technical prowess and dedication to maintaining the highest industry standards.

Currently, Kuldeep holds a pivotal role as the NDT Manager at M/S WELSPUN PIPES INC. in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. In this position, he oversees all NDE (Non-Destructive Evaluation) activities and plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of pipe production. His responsibilities include developing NDT procedures, upgradation and installation of NDT machines, spare management, calibration of NDT instruments, quality management, and more.

Kuldeep’s professional journey reflects a rich and diverse background, including previous roles at WELSPUN Corp Ltd. in both India and the USA, as well as a tenure at LARSEN & TOUBRO LIMITED, India, in the NDT department. These experiences have provided him with a holistic perspective on the NDT industry, encompassing various aspects of NDT, training, calibration, quality management, and team leadership.

Beyond his technical role, Kuldeep actively contributes to the NDT community by volunteering for the ASNT T&E Technicians Resource Development Committee, Engineering Council, and the ASNT Council for Women in NDT (WIN). His involvement in these committees underlines his dedication to improving technician training, education, and gender equality in the field.

Kuldeep’s passion for knowledge dissemination is evident in his role as a subject matter expert for Magnetic Particle Testing eLearning, as well as an Editorial Advisory Board Member for NDT.net and e-Journal of Nondestructive Testing. His contributions extend to publications and presentations in prestigious journals and conferences, where he shares insights on a variety of NDT-related topics.
