Paidéia is an academic publication affiliated with the Graduate Program in Psychology at the University of São Paulo at Ribeirão Preto Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters. Issued since 1991, Paidéia publishes original research in Psychology and related areas every four months, in the following categories: research article, theoretical study and systematic literature review. The editorial process of Paidéia is based on double blind peer review. Paidéia is available for consultation in 13 databases, of which we can cite Scopus (Elsevier), PsycINFO and the Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciELO - http://www.scielo.br/scielo.php?lng=en). The Editorial Board authorizes free access to and distribution of published articles, provided that the source is cited, that is, granting credit to the authors and Paidéia and preserving the full text. Paidéia adopts the Creative Commons Licence, CC BY-NC non-commercial attribution. This license permits access, download, print, share, reuse and distribution of papers, provided that it is for non-commercial use. From issue 51 throught 54, Paidéia published all the articles both on english and portuguese. As from issue 55, all the articles will be published only in english.
