About the Congress

The Congress at 45

45 years ago, the first of the series of National and International Congresses on Civil Engineering was held at the University of Shiraz, Iran. Since then, 10 National and 10 International Civil Engineering Congresses of these series have been held successfully in different universities in this country. The Congresses are organized by 17 accredited Iranian universities and supported by many acclaimed universities and institutions from all over the world.

The School of Civil Engineering of the University of Tehran is proud to host the 11th International Congress on Civil Engineering (11 ICCE) from 8th to 10th of May 2018.

The forthcoming 11th International Congress will incorporate “International Civil Engineers’ General Meeting and Conference” as well as several “Specialty Conferences”, “Symposia”, “Special Sessions”, “Workshops”, “Panel Discussions”, “Exhibitions”, “Gala Dinner” and ” Scientific and Sightseeing Tours”.

Selected papers will be recommended for publication in the following journals:

Selected papers will be recommended by the Scientific Committee for review and possible publication in the following Journals (more journals may be added to the list):

  • Civil Engineering Infrastructure Journal
  • Journal of Seismology and Earthquake Engineering
  • ASAS (Journal of the Iranian Society of Civil Engineers)
  • Iranian Journal of Space Structures


The 11 ICCE will take place at the University of Tehran.
